36 Weeks

It's another snow day! We're digging ourselves out of 10 inches of snow that fell yesterday. The main roads were not bad this morning as I went to yet another doctor's appointment. The baby is still going great. The contractions I've been having really are preparing my body for labor. The doctor said that I am "ripe." For those of you who like the details... I'm 60 effaced and 3cm dilated. Also the baby's head has dropped very low. Because of this newest information, the doctor says he can shorten the induction process. I no longer need to go to the hospital on Thursday evening. Instead I'll just arrive early Friday morning (2-15). He says things should go very quickly with just a little pitosin and maybe needing to break my water.
