Great Appointment

Today was the "big" ultrasound of baby girl #2 with our cardiologist. As many of you know, our first daughter, Ella, was born with a congenital heart defect which required open heart surgery when she was only one week old. Because this kind of birth defect is believed to be hereditary, there is a higher risk that any of my future babies could also have heart defects. We went into the appointment a bit apprehensive, but confident that God works out all things for the good of those who love him. Truly this is a day to rejoice, because NO PROBLEMS were found with our baby's heart. I may actually have a normal pregnancy and delivery this time around. The only concern at this point is that the baby is transverse breech, meaning lying diagonally with head upward instead of down. Over the past few months she has moved a little closer to the correct position, but we need her to move more so I can avoid having a c-section. Move, baby, move! Thanks again for your continued love and concern for our family.
